The late Tom Schneider was a life-long Episcopalian and a life member of the American Psychological Association. When he retired, he was a clinical member and approved supervisor for the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, a member of the American Association of Psychotherapists, and a Fellow of the Georgia Psychological Association. He had more than 40 years of experience counseling individuals, couples, families, and organizations, and he had logged an untold number of delightful hours teaching Sunday school at church.

In The Legend of Gili, the Christmas Kid, he indulged his love of storytelling to help young readers understand the bad things that may happen when we give into fear, anger, frustration and a sense of loss. In his inspiring book, he reminds children that good things might happen when we demonstrate kindness and forgiveness and embrace love and hope.

Dr. Schneider wrote two musicals called Common Union and Stages, and he was the author of Breaking Anger’s Embrace and Other Insights on the Human Condition.

He hoped that you will help The Legend of Gili the Christmas Kid to grow far and wide, and he urged us to Share Joy wherever we go.
